With extensive experience in Electronic Logging Device (ELD) data analysis and systems, Benjamin specializes in using formally validated software to dispute complex Hours of Service (HOS) violations given to both U.S. and Canadian carriers. His expertise supports carriers and drivers in navigating regulatory compliance through precise and defensible data interpretation.
Benjamin is also an expert in Transport Management Systems (TMS), having worked with industry-leading platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and a range of homegrown solutions. His hands-on experience in selling, implementing, and training others on these systems has enabled organizations to optimize logistics operations and workforce efficiency.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Benjamin holds a Certificate of C2 fluency from the Cervantes Institute of Zaragoza, Spain. His bilingual capabilities strengthen cross-border communications and support within the North American and European transport sectors.
Outside of compliance and operations, Benjamin has a growing interest in the role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming transportation technologies. He remains at the forefront of emerging tools that enhance data-driven decision-making, safety, and automation in logistics.

Edward Lowdell
General Counsel – Legal Informatic Executive | KODEA
Edward is a seasoned Commercial and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) lawyer with over 15 years post-qualification experience. Admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2009, he began his legal career at a top international law firm in London, where he developed a strong foundation in complex commercial and regulatory matters.
He has particular expertise in the Transport, Information Technology and Financial Services sectors, advising a broad range of clients across both private and the public sector, including local and central government bodies.
Edward provides strategic legal counsel to the wider group of companies affiliated with Kodea. He has played a key role in the establishment and ongoing legal support of a diverse portfolio of transport operators—ranging from the largest multinational corporations to single-owner businesses—across Europe and the United States.
His experience includes extensive work with hours-of-service compliance, supported by in-depth analysis of tachograph and Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) data. Drawing on experience from Europe, he was part of a wider team which helped guide administration and key stakeholders through the transition from paper-based logs and legacy systems to ELD technologies in North America.
Edward also has a strong interest in Rules as Code and works closely with the interdisciplinary team at a Kodea affiliated company at the intersection of law, formal methods and transport innovation. He is committed to raising awareness of these emerging technologies in North America and aims to advance the use of formal verification methods in an industrial context.
